DUANE FERNANDEZ & NATE MCPHERSON

Duane Fernandez, Black Ops Studio
Born from a Danish mother and Filipino father, Duane’s diverse ethnic background towed him from his birthplace in LA to numerous corners of the world throughout the years. Guided by his travels abroad, Duane developed an appreciation for a diverse visual aesthetic, reflecting influences from many different cultural environments. Today Duane is a principal in Black Ops Studio: A design studio. He is also the founder of Left Field Project.

Nate McPherson, Spexton Jewelry
Spexton is a different kind of contemporary jewelry company. While most other titanium and steel jewelry collections are mass-produced by computerized machines, Spexton uses only hand-controlled tools to create a truly unique collection. Spexton believes your jewelry should be made by an artist, not a robot. Nate is one of the two artists who make up the Spexton brand.
