Graphex 37 Judge:Nina D’Amario

For the past 5 years, Nina D’Amario has been the Art Director at PublicAffairs, a small but very visible publishing house in New York.She came to graphic design by way of language studies, specifically Russian and French, then marine biology, and then sous chefing. She feels she has finally found her niche, for at least the next 5 minutes. A few jackets she designed appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, and she was the recipient of a design award from The Art Directors Club of New York. Prior to her time at PublicAffairs, she was Ad/Promo Art Director at Penguin Books.
Her next incarnation will be master kite builder.
