Over the past couple of months I have been thinking about leasing a new studio. As a creative, I can’t help myself, the idea of finding a better space than what I currently have is fun. I occasionally think, “Oh, wouldn’t it be cool if I had a garage door that opened into my space so I could bring in big paintings or open it on a nice day?” Tons of other improvements enter my mind and I just slightly entertain them.

Well, when the day actually comes that you HAVE to move, like it has for me and the Live4This crew, it is quite the stressful experience. It is kind of like having a project that you have a bunch of great ideas for but then you realize that you only have 2 weeks and a small budget, you end up dumbing everything down and take the easiest method of execution. This is a hard route to take when you know that you will have to work in the results everyday.

Well, with all this to deal with, I tried to do some research that would give me a little peace of mind. That is when I came across this article about the Do’s and Don’ts of leasing an office space. Check it out, I found it informative.

Also, if anybody might be interested in a cool studio space, let me know.
