He has collaborated with companies both large and small, including Real Simple magazine, Martha Stewart Living magazine & books, Aveda, Neiman Marcus, Cole Haan, Trish McEvoy, Interface, Flor and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. A hallmark of his work is the use of strategic messaging and highly engaging imagery to create a profound and resonant connection with his audience.

Valentine has been recognized globally by numerous competitions & designations, including: Graphis, Communications Arts, ID Magazine, PRINT, Interior Design Magazine, British Design Association (D&AD), Type Directors Club (TDC), Society of Publications Design (SPD), & American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). Selected works are part of the permanent collections of The Cooper Hewitt Design Museum (NY), Smithsonian (Washington DC), and Victoria & Albert Museum (London).
